This Privacy Policy explains how Identis Ltd ("Pigo", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Pigo WhatsApp bookkeeping service.

1. Who We Are

Pigo is a product of Identis Ltd, a company registered in Nigeria under the Corporate Affairs Commission with RC Number 9078699. Our registered address is Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria.

2. What Information We Collect

When you use Pigo, we collect:

Your WhatsApp phone number — used to identify your account
Your name and business name — provided during onboarding
Transaction records — sales, expenses, debts you record through Pigo
Stock information — items and quantities you enter
Debtor information — names and phone numbers of people who owe you money
Referral data — who invited you to Pigo and who you have invited
Usage data — how you interact with the Pigo bot (e.g. which features you use)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to provide the Pigo service:

To power your bookkeeping — recording and summarising your transactions
To send automatic debt reminders to your customers on your behalf
To deliver your weekly business summary every Sunday
To manage your credit balance and referral rewards
To send you service notifications about your account
To improve and maintain the Pigo platform

4. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to anyone.

We share data only with:

Meta (WhatsApp) — to deliver messages through the WhatsApp Business API
Our hosting provider (Railway) — to store your data securely on encrypted servers
Supabase — our database provider, used to store account information

All third-party providers are bound by strict data protection agreements.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on encrypted servers. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information from unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure.

Your transaction data is stored for as long as you have an active Pigo account. When you delete your account, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
Correct — ask us to correct inaccurate information
Delete — request deletion of your account and all associated data
Object — object to how we use your data

7. Children's Privacy

Pigo is designed for business owners and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will notify you through the Pigo WhatsApp bot. Continued use of Pigo after changes means you accept the updated policy.
